Golf is the greatest game of all. What other sport presents you with the opportunity to:-

  • Play for the whole of your active life
  • Play on courses all around the world, where championships have been won and lost
  • Compete equally through a balanced handicapping system
  • Play together as a family, often spanning 3 or even 4 generations

tips

Winter is often thought of as ‘down time’ but it presents every golfer with the perfect opportunity to prepare properly for next season during the months when range practice is more practical than play. This is how you should approach your winter work.

  • Assess your current game.
  • Analyse your stats if you keep them.
  • Identify areas for improvement
  • Talk to your pro & book a lesson.
  • Practice the prescribed drills & swing movements.
  • Set yourself practice challenges**.
  • Set new goals for the coming season.
  • Keep stats from now on, they help a lot.

The ‘Little Black Golf Book’, featured in this website, is designed to help you with the above process. It is free with my ‘Pro Plan’ & ‘Executive Plan’ lesson packages.

** Practice Challenges are central to the easy to use smart phone golf App ‘Systematic Golf’. It is a well structured, useful App, and will help you plan your improvement. Worth downloading!

Hi, I’m Lee Johnson and via my golf instruction website I am going to explain how I can help you, your friends and your family get maximum enjoyment from the great game of golf. Since 1973 I have been helping hundreds of golfers achieve their goals. The teaching skills I employ have been developed through studying and teaching golf and applying my own passionate and very personal style. The seeds of my career in golf were sown at a very early age and this is how it grew to where it is now………….
PGA

  • Played golf since the age of four.

Covered mats, a grass teaching tee (summer) and a short game area are complimented by the 18 hole Par 73 course, all of which are vital components to successful and enjoyable tuition.
Academy membership is available and a great way for novices to get started.

My structured golf tuition comes in various forms which I have detailed for you on the TUITION page and please remember, my teaching is available to everyone, across all levels of ability,  there are no ‘Private’ signs at the ‘Lee Johnson Golf Academy’.

So if you would like to get your game back on track, or take it to another level, give me a call now. I look forward to working with you and helping you get the most from this great game.
